 Martin Sachenbacher received both his M.Sc. (1996) and Ph.D. (2001) degrees from Technische Universitaet Muenchen. He has been a doctoral fellow of the Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart (1996-1999) and worked as a postdoc at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA (2002-2005) and Universitaet Muenchen (2005-2006). Since 2007, he heads the Independent Junior Research Group Constraint-based Models and Algorithms for Self-Diagnosis and -Planning at Technische Universitaet Muenchen and its CoTeSys (Cognition in Technical Systems) Cluster of Excellence.
